1 Mhz: An Apple II Podcast
In 1Mhz, Carrington Vanston has created an excellent Apple II podcast. Carrington presents Apple II news and software reviews mixed with personal stories. Research is extensive and presented with humour in an easy to follow way.
The podcast is at the same time both contemporary and nostalgic. 1Mhz covers how the Apple II is used today, used in new ways to do new things. Software is reviewed for its worth today, not how it might have been ‘back in the day’.
Signature music is well chosen, reminiscent of both the music of the time and the sound produced by the Apple II.
Show notes on the Apple II looking 1Mhz website is well stocked with links, pictures and disk images.
Subscribe to 1Mhz via the 1Mhz website or via iTunes.

Readers beware! I was recently subjected to this podcast and let me tell you that the only reason it is titled Mega-hurts is because it really hurts to listen to it. Danny is immune to geek-induced pain so he did not understand my cries for help. Unless you are an uber-geek stay away from this podcast.

Liz, you are correct. This podcast is the winnowing fork, separating the geeks from the non-geeks. Only the true geek can listen to this podcast.
