The Ministerial Podcast

Neil Atwood, the Associate Minister at Toongabbie Anglican Church, has been podcasting the messages delivered at Sunday Night Church through his website, Westserve. Each talk opens with the relevant bible reading, then straight to the message.

With iTunes 4.9, you can easily subscribe to podcasts listed in the podcast directory, then sync them to your iPod for listening away from your computer. While the Westserve podcast is not listed in the podcast directory, you can still subscribe using iTunes 4.9. Here is how:

  1. Download and install iTunes 4.9 from Apple Computer.
  2. Go to Westserve, control-click (right-click for Windows) the ‘Bible Talks (Podcast)’ XML icon and select ‘Copy Link to Clipboard’.
  3. In iTunes, go to the ‘Advanced’ menu and select ‘Subscribe to Podcast…’
  4. Paste the text just copied and click ‘OK’. You are subscribed!

iTunes will download the latest message. Then you can choose to download older talks.
